Petrax was born in Fermo, in the Marche region, in 1966. He began his career with the ink drawing and then, starting in 1996, landed on the watercolor used as "travel notes".
From 2000 to 2008 he devoted himself to an intense production of acrylics and enamels on canvas (large) that are technically inspired by "action painting" but having the landscapes of the Marche as the dominant subjects and colors.
Since 2004 he has collaborated with the italian newspapers (Avvenire and Il Resto del Carlino) as an author and designer of satirical cartoons.
Since 2009 he has dedicated himself to creating large canvases (acrylics and enamels) in which a landscape painting dominates with a significant material, action and color component.
His works have been exhibited in Rome, Milan, Bologna, Venice, Stockholm, ​​Canterbury (UK).
His works are now treated by a private gallery in Milan.
